I need help!

Ok I packed up my brother-in-laws junk and now I have an extra bedroom that people can actually stay in! The only problem is it is not decorated! I am hoping some of you will help me! Whatever you think would go good in the room...let me know!

Ok these pictures were bought for me when I worked for the watermelon association. Jules Burt, the lady who did some painting for the set of Friends did them. I have idead what to do with them other than sell them. If you have any suggestions...I am open ears!

Learning how to DIY!

The blogging world has sucked me in! I find myself searching for Do It Yourself ideas on blogs way too much, but they have inspired me. I have NEVER been one to attempt anything artistic, I mean my middle school art teacher told me if I wanted to keep a good GPA I best not take art in high school! But I put my big girl panties on (called Hollie) and decided that I could do this. I am taking on finishing and organizing Shane's upstairs room as well as organizing and decorating one of my downstairs bedrooms. I first wanted to paint this old tv console white to match the room. I posted the pics backward so you can see my finished project first! I am way too proud of myself ha!

I had a little help...my nephews were so pumped about helping me! My oldest nephew (Myles) has grown up so much and he kept saying "JJ I am doing this right, I will make sure Jackson does not mess this up so it will look good up here." He was so proud when we got done...he said "man this looks too good." Oh I just love them!

This is the tv console before. I sanded, primed, and painted it all by myself (ok with some help from my nephews).

I also put up my bookshelf that Hollie and I got at IKEA. I will post pics of that tomorrow!

Beauty Find..Revision Intellishade

I am very paranoid about looking OLD early and due to LIVING in a tanning bed for years I would say that my skin is very damaged. I was not liking my dermatologist here in town so my great friend Hollie, recommended Dr. Jennifer Allen in Macon, GA. I made an appointment and I was so excited! Let me tell you she did not disappoint. She is so personable and really knows what she is talking about. After looking at my skin, she recommended that I start using the revision intellishade tinted moisturizer. I was skeptical about its coverage at first, but I love it! It covers like a real base. It has built in spf 45 but does not make your face look light in photos. It also has peptides in the formula to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. I have been using it for about a month and I will say I can tell a difference. A bottle is 45 dollars but it lasts a while! Get yours today!

Awesome New Smoothies!

Pitts Ga = No Smoothie King sooo Yoplait to the rescue! I LOVE smoothies but never know whay to buy to make them (or I just don't want to take the time) but yoplait made it simple. While grocery shopping I found this little package in the frozen section. It is smoothie in a bag! All you do is put the contents of the package (just frozen fruit and frozen yogurt squares) and add milk, then blend. TADA-smoothie! Its 70 calories per serving and there are 2 servings. DELICIOUS! My favorite flavor..Strawberry, mango, pineapple...YUMMY! I also have to give a huge thanks to Jill and Davis King and Kim and Nick Cambell for a great wedding gift. The cuisinart hand blender (its AWESOME for smoothies and just about ANYTHING else)..thanks guys!

Sweet Della Blue

SHANE GAVE IN!! Shane finally caved and we went and picked up our new baby on Monday around lunch. We chose this sweet little girl out of 8 other puppies. She is the sweetest little thing...but is FULL of energy. She is sleeping all night but is a ball of fire when she wakes up. We named her Sweet Della Blue...and we call her Della. Her and Memphis are already best friends. Though he is a little jealous (I have to hold him and then hold her and then hold him...). We are so excited!

Memphis' New Girlfriend

I am a dog LOVER! We have a beautiful little chocolate lab named Memphis who really does not know he is a dog. He is NEVER left alone, gets carried like a baby, and sleeps in the bed (he is 65 pounds). He rides the tractor with Shane and never leaves our sights. He is the most awesome little man in the world. He has though turned in to a man, thinking with the wrong brain if you know what I mean. Being a good mother I thought we should get him a girlfriend. This is the girlfriend I found for him. She is a silver lab and is absolutely precious. We would build a fence in the backyard so we could leave them home some and Memphis would have a playmate. She is kind of pricey because they are rare so I am in the process of begging my husband. I mean afterall we could breed her and make money...we would basically pimp our dog! Oh well just wanted you guys to see the little girl. Leave suggestions for names! I will let you know when we get her!
